Donald David Higgins, 50 of Benton, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008 due to injuries sustained in a house fire. Donald loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed having cookouts and grilling for everyone. He is preceded in death by his father, James Higgins. Donald is survived by his loving children, Allen, Jonathan, Jennifer and Melissa Higgins; twelve grandchildren; mother, Jane Higgins; three brothers, James, Paul and Bobby Higgins and one sister, Karen Higgins and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will all miss him dearly. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant 501-847-9099. Graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:30 at Social Hill Cemetery in Benton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Donald Higgins Memorial Fund c/o Regions Bank.
