Donald Bruce Hill, 83, of Benton, Arkansas was born to the late Lee David Hill and Marjorie (DeShazer) Albright, on Sunday, October 5th, 1941, in Los Angeles, California. He went to see the Lord on Monday, July 28th, 2025, surrounded by love.

Donald was a fun-loving person who was full of joy. He enjoyed reading, science, history, football, and keeping up with current events such as politics.

To know Donald, was to know that even though he wasn't able to say it, you knew exactly how he felt about you. At least you knew how he made you feel. His smile could light up any room and he radiated kindness.

Those lucky enough to know Donald, were reminded every day of how important it is to get to love someone. He made loving him so easy. He will be truly missed.

He is joined in eternal rest with his parents; his siblings, Kathleen McPherson, Beverly Heitkamper, David E. Hill, and Roi Hill; and his aunt, Juanda Lee DeShazer

Those left to share his memories and legacy is his siblings, Ronald Shubin (Marie), Deborah Hamilton (John), Sherri Friis, and Pamela Turney; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends who all love him and will miss him greatly.

The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to Arkansas Health Center where Donald called home for the last 13 years. They became part of his family. A special thank you to Jean Watkins (his social worker), Ryan Russell (his speech therapist), and the CNA's for always going above and beyond the call of duty.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Arkansas Health Center in Benton, Arkansas.

His celebration of life will be on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Harmony Cemetery following his service. Those going to the cemetery, we will not be going in procession, so kindly meet us there.
