Donald Anderson Rogers 76, of Mabelvale, passed away on January 14, 2010. Mr. Rogers was born on June 30, 1933 to the late Joe W. and Viola Rogers in Woodson, Arkansas. Donald's greatest joy in life was spending time with his loving wife, children and especially the grandkids. He was a member of New Hope Church of the Nazarene. Donald was the owner and operator of Donnie's Shoe Repair for over 40 years. He also loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sue Fulton Rogers; four daughters, Lesia Cole (Tim), Carol Hathcock (Ben), Debbie Walker (Doug) and Kim Carpenter (Joe); two sons, Calvin Warden and Donnie Rogers; nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four sisters, Joanne Carrington, Judy McCandless, Brenda Rogers and Sharon Rogers; one brother, Jerry Rogers and a host of family and friends who will all miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by four brothers and three sister. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant 501-847-9099 with Pastor George Yarberry officiating.
