Our beloved mother, nana, sister and friend, Dorothy Blevins, 80, left this earth to go to the place in Heaven that God had prepared for her to join her husband Bill of 50 years and her parents Edward and Cecilia Krallman the morning of June 22, 2016.

She was born on July 19, 1935 in Scranton, AR and graduated from Scranton High School. She retired from Lucent Technologies and at the time of her death she resided in Little Rock, AR.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Baldwin and husband Randy of Little Rock, Pam Metheny and husband Kenny of Mabelvale, grandchildren, Nicholas Metheny and wife Deidre of Mabelvale, Cody Metheny of Mabelvale, great-granddaughter, Lexie Metheny. She is also survived by brothers, Eddie Krallman and wife Jo of Benton, AR, Charlie Krallman and wife Pam of Charleston, AR, sister Mary Martin and husband Jerry of Paris, AR and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Dorothy's favorite things to do were reading, word search puzzles, working in the yard tending her flowers, feeding and watching her hummingbirds, long talks on the phone with friends and most of all, taking care of and spoiling her great-granddaughter Lexie. She always put others first and was always there when you needed her. Due to her somewhat cantankerous ways, she was nicknamed "The Nana".

The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
