Dorothy Iona Boggs, age 82, of Benton, passed away on Tuesday, May 27. She was born February 4, 1926 in West Virginia to her parents, Howard and Freda Mullins. Ms Boggs is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Buford H. Boggs, Sr.; and one infant brother, Earl David. She is survived by her son, Buford H. Boggs (Emily), daughters; Edith Yates (Kenneth) and Rochenia "Lucky" Turney (Sam). Ms. Boggs is also survived by her grandson, Kelly David Bates, seven step-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2008 at Kentucky Cemetery, on Hwy 5 in Benton. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
