Dorothy Jean Lockert Melton Passed from this Life on December 4, 2020. She was Born February 1 ^st 1934 and lived a full 86 years of life. She loved the Lord and enjoyed singing praises to him. She would tell others about God and his unfailing love every chance she had. She lived a life of servanthood and love. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years William Dale Melton, 2 sons Randal Melton (Randy), Dennis Melton (Buck), one granddaughter Jennifer Melton, as well as her father Charles Lockert, mother Rena May Lockert, six sisters Thelma Hester, Leva Shamlin, Lillian Smith, Laverne Brown, Billye Knight, Ruby, brothers Victor Lockert, and Howard Lockert. She is survived by her children Gary Melton (Beth), Kimberly Eddy (Doug), Kristi Melton, Tisha Shelby (Matthew). As well as grandchildren: JR (Gary Jr.) Melton, Dusty Melton, Rusty Melton, Stacy Wilson, Eric Melton, Kassidy Eddy, Kameron Eddy and more than 20 great-grandchildren and many friends she has made along the way. Celebration of Life will be at Dial and Dudley in Bryant, AR with Visitation on Thursday December 10th one hour prior followed by the Funeral at 1pm.
