Dorothy Jean Rivers, 67, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on November 10, 2022. She was born to the late, John Henry Sr and Lela (Jones) Crow, on Sunday, November 28, 1954, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dorothy loved the Lord with all of her heart and spent her last days singing praises to his name! Dorothy enjoyed going fishing, going to thrift stores, crocheting, playing cards, playing Farkel, and spending time with her family. Her personality was like a magnet and all types of people gravitated towards her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Kristopher Ryder; and stepfather, Orville Daniels.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Alex Rivers; eight children, Sherry Hadidon, Beverly Ussery, Tony Drinkwater Jr. (Chasity), Mandy Palton; stepchildren, Stacy Rivers (Mary), Laroy Rivers, Evon Waters (Derrick), and Alex Rivers Jr.; twenty two grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Louise, Wilma, Penny, and Jessie; one brother, John Jr.; special cousin, Carol Parks; along with a host of other family and friends who all love her and will miss her dearly.

Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with the visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Perryville, Arkansas.
