Dorothy Jean Spikes, 82, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on October 19, 2018. She was born to Samuel and Florance Heim on May 26, 1936 in Delhi, New York. As a young child, she worked with her grandfather in a Quarry. When she was older she enlisted in the military as a Marine, but then decided to start a family of her own. She raised a family of 8 children all the way from New York to California. She loved her family and they were her whole life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Spikes, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Thomas, Tim, Fred, Teresa, Joan, Judy, Harry, and Deborah Spikes; sister, Marion Gotham; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with a host of many family and friends who love and miss her dearly.

A celebration of Dorothy's life is currently pending. She will be buried at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
