Douglas Wayne Andrews, 75, of Benton, Arkansas was born to the late Clyde "Andy" Andrews and Lola Jean (Douglas) Andrews, on Tuesday, November 22nd, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri. He left this world as a very accomplished and loved man on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, surrounded by love safely in his home.

He was a long time member of The Society of Experimental Test Pilots. Doug had an amazing career and retired from Dassault Falcon Jet as Director Of Flight Operations in 2016. He was also a world traveler and adventurer. Some of the things he loved included flying, sailing, boating and riding his Harley on long country roads. Doug enjoyed watching sunsets, space events, and all things weather. He lived life to the fullest, and treasured every single day of it.

Left to cherish his legacy and memories are his loving wife of 21 years, Sharon (Barber) Andrews; his two brothers, Joe Andrews, and his wife, Amy, and Stephen Andrews, and his wife, Leslie; one sister, Lisa Long, and her husband, Paul; his nieces and nephews, Kyle Andrews (Kelsey), Sarah Brink (Scott), Joe Andrews, Jr., Hannah Jackson (Aaron), and Nathan Long (Kaitlyn); along with six great nieces, two great nephews, numerous family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly!

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery where the military honor team will play taps and present the flag in honor of Doug's service for his country.

Family and friends will gather at Doug and Sharon's home after his service.
