Sonny was born on July 18th, 1947 in Hermitage, Arkansas. He went home to be with Jesus on June 6th, 2021. Sonny retired from Granite Mountain Quarry after 22 years and was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved fishing, boating, camping, and playing cards with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his father James Kendrick Coddington; mother Sarah Dean (Outlaw) Coddington; brother Joe Fred Coddington; sister Janet Dean Coddington. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of fifty-two years, Debbie Ann Coddington of Alexander; son, Michael Keith Coddington and his wife, Titia, of Little Rock; daughter, Ashley Doyne Damallie and her husband, Delroy, of Miramar, Florida; four grandchildren, Mika Lynn Goshien and her husband, Connor, of Benton, Leah Marie Coddington of Little Rock, Christian Keith Damallie, and Chloe Ann Damallie of Miramar, Florida; brother Roger G. Coddington and wife, Diane, of Banks; sisters Debra Lynn Williams and husband, Mikel, of Chambersville, Rita Mae Bickers of Warren, Karen Sue Carey of Warren; also many more family members and friends who love him and will always miss him. Pallbearers are Delroy Damallie, Connor Goshien, Riley Hemphill, Jacob Loyd, Nick Neely, and Jason Loyd. Honorary Pallbearers are Jessie Bickers, Jerrod Sparks, and Layton Sparks.
