Edward Wilmont Brooks, 89, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on November 26, 2018. He was born to Wike and Effie Brooks on June 25, 1929 in Lepanto, Arkansas. He loved reading the Bible, traveling, and spending time with his family and church family. He was the pastor of the Church of Jesus Christ for 61 years.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eva Dean Brooks; son, Dwight Brooks; parents.

He is survived by his six children, Jerry Boyd (Norma), Patricia Johnson (Graham), Dana Brooks, David Brooks (Kari), Tim Brooks (Beverly), and Joel Brooks (Beverly); 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of many family and friends who love and miss him dearly.

A celebration of Edward's life will be on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ. 4124 Holy Ridge Road, Traskwood, Arkansas. with the visitation the evening before from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
