Ellen Davis Wells, age 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Saturday morning, October 17, 2015 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Ellen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louie T. Wells; parents, Albert Davis and Laura Johnson Davis; brothers, Allen, Alvin, DeWoody, Lloyd Davis, and Richard Davis; sister, Louise Davis DeMarco; grandson, Pete Wells and great grandson, Kye Wells. Ellen is survived by her children, Tommy (Joan) Wells, Bobby (Judy) Wells, Melvin Wells, Estelle Gilbreth; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home with Rev. George Yarberry officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.
