Erin Michelle Merritt, 17, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008, in Benton Arkansas , due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Erin was born Dec 16, 1990 in Little Rock AR. She previously attended Greenbrier high school then relocated to the Benton Bryant area where she celebrated life with many friends. Erin will be most remembered by her friends and family for her curiosity and zest for life, as well as, her passion to voice her opinion. She was bright, outgoing, fun loving, had boundless energy, and an enthusiasm for Martial Arts, music, and like all teenage girls- boys. She is survived by her newborn son; Hunter Merritt, her mother; Kimberly Simpson of Benton, father and stepmother; Brent and Jennifer Merritt of Greenbrier, siblings; Shelly and Nathan Hall and Arielle and Damia Merritt, grandparents; great grandparents and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, July, 17th from 6 – 8 PM Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. A celebration of Erin's Life will be held on Friday July 18th at 10am at the Funeral Home.
