Etta Long's Obituary

Etta Long 96 of Benton, passed away on February 7, 2017. She was born May 22,1920 to John Cheek and Annie Lynch cheek in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She enjoyed being a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The love of her family was very important to her. Etta loved baking bread, making candy and doing for others.
She was a long member of Temple Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her loving husband of seventy-five years, Kenneth Long; daughter, Patricia Williams (Dr. James A. Williams); granddaughter, Marlea Maschmeyer (Trip); great-grandson, Will Maschmeyer; sister, Francis Harmon, and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her greatly.
