Eugene "Gene" Harley Harrison, 84 of Wye Mountain passed away on February 8, 2020 with his family and friends by his side.  He was born on February 11, 1935 to the late, Oren and Ila Katie Lou Harrison in Delaware, Arkansas. He enjoyed watching football, baseball and the game show network.  Gene loved spending time with his family and church family.   He retired from the Pulaski County Special School District after 30 years.  Gene proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Buffalo Jesus Name Church where he served as a deacon for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 35 years, Laurine Harrison; 2 ^nd wife, Peggy Harrison; sister, Meva Littleton and brother, Oren Harrison Jr.

Gene is survived by his son, Robert Harrison; three daughters, Lorrie and Gary Kirk, Tina Stane and Sharon and Don Clevenger, seven grandchildren, Laura Rose Kirk, Heather Story, Erike Matlock, Katie Poe, Nikki White, Jessica Stane and Amber Clevenger; sister, Susan Baier; three step children; seven step grandchildren; brother in law, Kenneth and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12 from 5-7 at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 13 at 2:00 pm at Souls Anchor Church, Wye Mountain with Brother Andrew Justice Jr. officiating with burial to follow at Wye Mountain Cemetery.
