Eva Faye Young, 98, of Benton, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 16, 2025. She was born on November 11, 1926, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Henry and Alice (Busche) Hopper.

Eva graduated from Baptist with a nursing degree and served as the night supervisor at Missouri Pacific Railroad Hospital. She dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her work and in her role as a loving mother. She cherished time with her children, and some of her happiest memories were made while camping with her family. A devoted Christian, Eva loved the Lord with all her heart and lived out her faith daily through her love for her family

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Shelby Young.

Eva is survived by her children, James Allen Young and Carol Beth Young Stewart (James); grandchildren, Kari Stewart, Kevin Stewart (Tiffany), Dmitriy Stewart (Eleasie), Sofia Stewart, and Jon Paul Durant; as well as a host of extended family and friends who deeply loved her and will miss her tremendously.
