Obituary

Felecia Diane Patterson, 62, of Arkansas, passed away on July 5, 2026. She was born on January 28, 1964, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Delton Gibbs and Charlcie DePriest Gibbs.

Felecia was known for her warm heart, outgoing personality, and genuine love for people. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome. Whether through conversation, laughter, or a simple act of kindness, she left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Felecia treasured her family above all else. She loved hearing about the daily adventures of her daughters and grandchildren and delighted them with personalized silly songs that became cherished family memories. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Felecia found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved swimming, whether at the beach, a creek, or a pool, and enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and watching reality television. She also cherished spending time with her many dear friends. Known for her extraordinary luck, Felecia seemed to win nearly every raffle and door prize she entered and even celebrated a win in the Arkansas Lottery.

Helping others was one of her greatest passions. She dedicated many years of service to her community through her work with CADC and assisted with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Earlier in her career, she proudly owned and operated Gibbs Auto Sales.

Felecia is survived by her previous  husband, Olen Patterson; her daughters, Hannah Hinden and husband Shane Hinden and Erica Wright and husband Jay Wright; her grandchildren, Tank Hinden, Chevelle Hinden, Cheyenne Hinden, Nova Hinden, and Elijah Wright; and her brothers, Charles Gibbs, Jr. Gibbs, and Ashley Gibbs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delton Gibbs and Charlcie DePriest Gibbs, and her siblings, Dorean Gibbs and Keith Gibbs.

Felecia will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, infectious spirit, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and community. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
