On January 26, 2022, Florence Lenore "Pat" Henningsen passed away at home surrounded by family in Malvern, AR at the age of 88.  Pat, as she was known to family and friends, was born January 1934 in Bauxite, AR, to Charlie and Eva Broadway. She married George "Burt" Henningsen Sr. on June 17, 1952, whom she met after her father moved the family to Wyoming in search of work. Eventually, they returned to Arkansas, were married for 49 years and together raised three children.

In addition to being a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Pat was actively involved with the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and served in several Arkansas Grand Chapter positions. She enjoyed her time of retirement from Benton State Bank (Regions Bank). Pat was a member of Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, AR. To all who knew her, Pat Henningsen will be remembered as a kind-hearted and compassionate wife, mother, and friend.

Pat is survived by her children – George Henningsen Jr. (Donna) of Houston, TX, Cindi Norwood of Malvern, AR, and Gary Henningsen (Teri) of Benton, AR; siblings – Audrey Webb, Bobbie Edmonson, John "Bud" Broadway (Anne), and Brenda Smith (Earl) of Bauxite, AR; grandchildren – Dr. Jessica Scott of Little Rock, AR, Timothy Scott (Megan) of Bauxite, AR, and Tyler Henningsen of Fayetteville, AR; four great grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, George "Burt" Henningsen Sr.; parents -Charlie and Eva Broadway; siblings - Charles D. Broadway and Carolyn Nalley; and son-in-law Bart Norwood.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant, AR. Visitation will be Monday, January 31 @ 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 1 @ Noon with a graveside service afterward at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Her grandsons, nephews, and a close family friend will serve as pallbearers.
