Obituary

Floyd James Moore, 84, of Traskwood, Arkansas passed away on June 23rd, 2014, safely at home with his family. He was a very talented and dedicated man who never missed church. He was an expert wood carver and could play any instrument. He also volunteered for the Arkansas Health Center and numerous nursing homes. He loved to travel and see the world, and he never missed a chance to go out to dinner. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lillian Robinson.

He is survived by his wife, Flora Mae Moore, of 65 years and eight months; son, Gary Moore of Traskwood; three daughters, Gayle Smith (Butch) of Traskwood, Karen Bowen of Benton, and Cindy McCool (Bubba) of Bauxite; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and another on the way; sister, Joyce Sanford (Leonard) of Traskwood; and a host of family and friends who all will miss him greatly.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 26th, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairplay Cemetery.
