Gary D. Patterson 68, of Alexander passed away on May 22, 2011. Mr. Patterson was born on October 23, 1942 to Jesse and Neola Patterson in Hickman County, TN. Gary formed The Spirits of Arkansas Basketball Teams and was the director of the Boys and Girls Club at Central Arkansas.
Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Rye Patterson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon Griffin Patterson of Little Rock, AR; mother, Neola Durham Patterson of Little Rock, AR; son, Edward Patterson (Holly) of Lindale, TX; granddaughter, Avery Patterson of Lindale, TX, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Dr. Paul Sanders officiating.
