Rev. George G. Rowell, 74, departed to the land of his heavenly reward on November 10, 2011. He was born August 18, 1937 to the late Carl Sr. and Dovey Rowell. Rev. G. Rowell loved preaching, singing, and ministering to people. He had a great sense of humor. Everyone who knew him loved him. He will be missed by all. He was a high school graduate of Westlake High in Westlake, LA and a college graduate of Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN. He pastored a total of 5 churches throughout his life and brought many people to the Lord. He pastored churches in Kansas and Louisiana and his last pastorate was at Marigold Pentecostal Church in Little Rock.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tamara Lynn Rowell; and grandson, Chaddrick Shane Harris. He is survived by his loving wife, Neoma Rowell; his brother and sister-in-law, Carl Jr. and Delores Rowell; his sister and brother-in-law, Lois (Bill) and Rev. Maurice James; daughter and son-in-law, Trecia Rowell Francois and Danny Francois; granddaughters, Courtney Francois and Danielle Bratton and her husband Danny Bratton great granddaughter, Chloe Bratton and many friends and church family that loved him and will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2:00 -4:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. A celebration of Rev.
