Obituary
Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Shollmier, age 61, of Benton, passed away April 26, 2009 in Benton.
Mr. Shollmier was retired from the Navy and most recently worked as a machinist for Parker Hydraulic. Jerry loved to spend time riding his motorcycle, working on his computer and was a Ham Radio Weather Spotter. He was also a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Karen, his son, Michael Mills and wife, Debra, of Longmont, Colorado and one granddaughter, Kayleigh, also of Colorado. He is also survived by two sisters and a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Jerry will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in the chapel of Dial & Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant, Arkansas (501) 847-9099 with Dr. Sid Sample Officiating. Burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
