Obituary
Gerald Allan Webb 82 of Benton, went to be with the Lord September 29, 2015.
He was born February 24, 1933 to Columbus and Nellie Burge Webb in Batesville, Arkansas.
He loved public speaking and writing. He was a member and deacon of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church for twenty seven years.
He retired from Edwardsville Illinois School District and
Bryant Public School District.
He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Carolyn King.
Survived by his loving wife of fifty seven years, Lou Webb; son, Ken Webb (Sue); two grandsons, Kyle Webb (Sara) and Logan Webb (Brittany); two great grandchildren, Noah and Ethan Webb, two brothers; Max and Ron Webb (Ann), sister; Lockie McCoy (James), and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
Funeral service, Friday, October 2, 2015, 10:00 AM at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Benton.
Visitation on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the church.
