Obituary

Glenn Joseph Winingar, 77, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. He was born to the late John and Nellie Winingar on Tuesday, December 3, 1940 in Festus, Missouri. Joyce Tucker Winingar was his childhood sweetheart and the love of his life. They married when she was 16 years old, and they have been in love ever since. He loved his children and grandchildren just as much as he loved Joyce. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Master Instructor, where he taught electronics for many years. He was the Pastor of First Gospel Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Robert Winingar; sister, LaVida Baum Miller.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years; son, Bret Winingar and his wife, JoAnn; daughter, Lanette Stewart and her husband, Fred; four grandchildren, Caleb and his wife, Hannah; William Zachary and his wife, Tara; Alexandra, and Rachel; sister, Joyce Elaine and her husband, Jimmy; brother, Larry and his wife, Carla; along with a host of family and friends who love and miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at First Gospel Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 12:00PM with the visitation the evening prior from 6-8PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
