Gordon Wayne Ivey, 89, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018. He was born to Clyde and Willa Mae Ivey on Sunday, October 28, 1928 in Marshall, Texas. He sang bass in the church quartet; southern gospel. He went to nursing homes and ministries to lend a helping hand. He was so caring and giving. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Ivey; parents; sister, Lois Ivey Woods; three brothers, Clyde Lowell, Billy and Joe M. Ivey.

He is survived by three children, Pamela Kulczar (James), Karon Wilson (Jeffrey), and Terry Ivey (Rhonda); seven grandchildren, Steven, David, Brandon, Yalondah "Loni", Nicholas, Jackie, and Dustin; 16 great grandchildren with two on the way; along with other family and friends who love and miss him dearly.

A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Woodlawn, Texas on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 12:00PM.
