Guy Hoover, age 72, of the Little Rock metro area, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on July 24, 1952, in De Queen, Arkansas, Guy spent his life bringing joy, laughter, and kindness to everyone who knew him.

Known for his quick wit and the tall tales he loved to spin, Guy had a unique gift for storytelling that left people smiling long after the story ended. He was a devoted Dad and Papa whose love for his family was evident in everything he did. Whether it was a quiet morning on the lake or a loud evening full of laughter, Guy cherished every moment with the people he loved most.

He is survived by his sons, Jerry Greenlee (Jessica), Bryan Hoover (Lisanne), Jesse Hoover (Kayla), and Tony Hoover; his beloved grandchildren, Madison, Macy, McKenzy, Izzy, Lylah, and Carson. and his siblings, Bob Hoover, Linda Carlson, and Kimberly Hoover Kegley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Burnice and Elizabeth Hoover, and his former wife, Regina Anthamatten.

Guy lived a life centered on love, generosity, and humor. He put others first, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. His presence will be deeply missed, but the stories he told and the love he gave will live on through his family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Guy's life will be held on Friday, April 25th, at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m., at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Arkansas.
