Obituary

Hank Wayne Mashburn, Jr., 36, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Hank grew up in Alexander, Arkansas, and attended Bryant High School.

He was the owner of Benton Construction, a commercial construction company he acquired and continued to operate.

An outdoorsman at heart, Hank enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He especially treasured the hunting trips he shared with his parents, as well as the time spent fishing with his beloved son, Liam.

Among his family's cherished memories was a three-day float trip on Arkansas's Buffalo River, shared with Brooke, Liam, his parents, and his nephew Lane. These moments together created memories his family will carry with them always.

One of the most important parts of Hank's life was being a father to his beloved son, Liam Tripp Mashburn.

The memories they made together will remain a meaningful part of his legacy. Hank also shared a special bond with his brother, Blake, and valued the time they spent together.

Hank was blessed with many friendships throughout his life, including those formed during his childhood in Alexander. He was loved by many who grew up alongside him, and the friendships and memories they shared will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

He leaves behind not only a loving family but also many friends who will miss him dearly.

Hank is survived by his wife, Lindsey Brooke Mashburn; his son, Liam Tripp Mashburn; his parents, Hank Wayne Mashburn, Sr. and Christina Ann Mashburn; his sister, Kinzie Renee Mashburn; his brother, Blake Allen Denton; his grandmother, Mary Ann Denton; and his nephews, Lane Allen Denton, Kaleb Russell, and Kolten Russell, and many family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill Denton, Bobby Cochran, Homer Mashburn, and Shirley Lynch; and his great-grandparents, Pete and Mary Ann Waddle, and John and June Mashburn.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Arkansas. Services will be officiated by Rev. David Ruehr.

"My biggest hope is that you are at peace.

That wherever you are, the pain is long gone. That your body feels light and your spirit feels free.

I hope you are resting in a place where the weight you carried here no longer touches you.

I hope you can feel how deeply you are loved and how much you are missed."
