Harold F. "Pookie" Jones Jr, 86, of Little Rock passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. He was born to the late Bill Jones and Elsie Vance Jones on Friday, November 22,1935 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Pookie graduated from Little Rock Central High School and he also served in the National Guard. He was a retired Captain from the Little Rock Police department. Pookie enjoyed sports, fishing, traveling in "Pookie's Palace", and he loved calling the Hogs. He was a member of the VFW 9095. Pookie was a member of Asbury Methodist Church and Grace Church in Hensley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill, and Elsie Jones; grandson, Evan Bruce; wife, Flo Jones and second wife, Gwyn Carter.

Pookie is survived by his brother, Bobby Jones and his wife Linda and their four sons and their families; daughter, Jennifer Bruce; son, Hal Jones; two grandsons, Dustin Bruce, and Trey Jones; two great grandchildren, Liam Bruce, and Kash Jones and a special lady, Sue Goodrum. Along with a host of family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.

Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 24th, 2022, at Grace Church in Hensley, Arkansas at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tommy Jones officiating.
