Herman Zimmerman, 88 of Bryant, passed away on February 4, 2017. He was born to the late, Herman William and Anne Zimmerman in St. Vincent, Arkansas on November 25, 1928. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, wood work, going to the Gulf to deep-sea fish and working in his shop. He retired from the trucking industry and opened Herman's Wholesale which he ran for over 20 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Alvah Zimmerman; sisters, Wilma Paladino and Mary Ann Zimmerman; grandchild, Kasey Zimmerman and great-grandchild, Wren Remington.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jennie Zimmerman; three sons, Donnie Halverson (Kathy), Herman Jr. and Gerald (Stephanie); five grandchildren, Mary, Alvah Jr., Josh, Todd and Stefanie; sisters, Francis Speights, Louise Dold and Loretta Williams and brother, Frank Zimmerman. He is also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
