Hollis Ray Wreyford, age 84 of Benton, passed from this life on December 25, 2014.

Mr. Wreyford was born on December 14, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas to his parents, Archie and Evelyn Wreyford.

He loved transferring old vinyl records into digital files and sharing them with his friends and traveling. He also ran the sound for many years at both Robinson Center Music Hall and the Arkansas State Fair Grand Stand. He was a 60 year member of the Adoniram Masonic Lodge #288 and was also involved in the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #604. Hollis Graduated from Little Rock Senior High School in 1948 and went on to retire with 40 years of service with the 189th division of the Air National Guard, where he was a Master Sergeant.

Hollis is survived by his wife, of 58 years, Faye Wreyford, along with two daughters; Ruth Smith of Bryant and Leigh Ripka and her husband, Bruce, of Conway, Arkansas. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Trevor Whittaker and his wife, Amanda and Stacy Drennan and her husband, David. Two great-grandchildren Alexis and Lane Allen, one sister, Dorothy Teeter, along with three nephews and their families, of whom Hollis was extremely proud and a host of other friends and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of life will be held for Mr. Wreyford at 1:30p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2014 in the chapel Of Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, in Bryant, with Brother Carlton Cross officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held on Sunday before the service, starting at 12:00p.m., at the funeral home.
