Horace Paul McReynolds III, age 36, went to be with the lord on Saturday, September 26, 2020 peacefully at his childhood home in East End, Arkansas. He was born April 18, 1984 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Horace Paul McReynolds, Jr. and Shelia Yvette Simons. Horace is survived by the mother of his children, Lora Kay Higgins (Lee); three sons, Caleb Crews, Jacob Crews and Braylon Skylar James Wood; daughters, Patience Mackenzie Ann McReynolds; Krislin Jade Deaton; grandson, Alexander Jay Crews; mother, Shelia Yvette Simons; grandmother, Nancy Louise Ashley; brother, Stony Roy Jose Salazar; sister, Jennifer Huff; aunt, Darlene Wise (Charlie) and four cousins, CJ Wise (Jodi), Veronica Feathers (Donald), Aleshia Higgins (George), Micah Zumwalt, and Dustin Brewer. He was predeceased in death by his father, Horace Paul McReynolds, Jr.; grandmother, Dorothy Lanette McReynolds; grandfathers, Herman Ashley; and Ray Simons; and a pit-bull, Cracker McReynolds. Horace lived life to the fullest; there was never a dull moment. Horace graduated from Woodland Hills Christian Academy in Alexander, Arkansas in 2001 and worked hard his whole life. The last few years of his life he spent as Senior Confined Space Specialist at Rineco Chemical Industries, Inc., a waste management company specializing in fuel blending, in Benton, Arkansas. Horace spent every second of every minute of every day of his life devoted to his family. A leader, he inspired deep loyalty from his friends and family. He believed that loyalty was not just a word but a way of life. He will be deeply missed but kept alive in our hearts always.
A memorial service will be held at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home located at 4212 AR-5 in Bryant, Arkansas on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 3, 2020, 6:00 PM, at the home of a Aleshia and George Higgins, 5208 East Grand Avenue, Hot Spring, Arkansas.
