Ima Jean Thompson 83 of Bauxite passed away on April 12, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on February 8, 1932 to the late, Robert and Mary Hamilton in Warren, Arkansas. Ima enjoyed embroidery, reading her bible, frogs and roosters. She was Pentecostal in faith and loved the Lord with her whole heart.
Ima is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud Thompson and son, Donnie Ray Thompson two Daughters; Dorothy Hawkins; Wanda Hudson and Grandson David.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dixie Bowden (Jake) and Teresa Pool (Monte) five grandchildren, Tommy, Chasity, Heather (Joshua), Erika, Chris and Steven; Nine great grandchildren; Jacob, Landon, Bella, Kellie, Austin, Dustin, Kaitlyn Brittney and Nicole ; sister, Mary Savage and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant with burial to follow at Prosperity Cemetery.
