Obituary
Irene Helen Porter 90, of Little Rock passed away December 9, 2014. Mrs. Porter was born June 25, 1924 to Melvin and Anna Draeger Burton in Cherokee, Kansas.
Irene loved to cook, sew and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Markham Street Baptist Church and Gold Star Wives Club.
Surviving is a daughter, Sharon Ambort. Grandchildren, Paige (Stan) Benton, Tammy Milligan both of Little Rock. Ashley (Shane) Red of Lakeland, Tennessee,
And Eric (Alayna) Ambort of Benton. She is also survived by six Great-Grand Children and a host of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Eddie E. Porter. Son; Eddie Earl Porter; two sisters and five brothers. Along with one daughter-in-law, Jane Taylor Porter; and one son-in-law, Leo J. Ambort III.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 11, 2014 , 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Graveside services will be Friday, December 12, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Ada Valley Cemetery, Morrilton, Arkansas.
