Obituary

Jack LeRoy Freeman 82 of Little Rock passed away on May 4, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born on December 18, 1932 in Bonnerdale, Arkansas to the late, Hunter and Minnie Freeman. Jack was a lifetime member of Christ Church where throughout the years he served as head usher, trustee, sound man, maintance man, organized auctions for fund raisers, held men's prayer breakfasts and always made sure his pastor and his wife was taken care of. He proudly served his country in the United State Marine Corps.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Ronald Odell Freeman and Bill Freeman; two bonus sons, Mark and Dennis Ashby; sister, Margaret Potts and three brothers, Clarence, Harvey and Floyd Freeman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sue Freeman; two sons, Dennis (Diane) Freeman and Alan (Beth) Freeman; two daughters, Connie Freeman-Hinson and Jodi (CiCi) Freeman-Tippett; bonus son, Bernie Lee Ashby; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two brothers, Ed (Darlene) Freeman and John Wedge; three sisters, Sue Skinner, Ann Leath and Alice (Otis) Leath and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. To sign online guest book visit www.dialanddudleyfuneralhome.com.
