James Clarenton Cash, 72, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He was born to the late, James and Doris McKenzie Cash, on Wednesday, May 11, 1949, in Newman, California. James was a very strong, quiet, and stubborn man. He definitely kept to himself most of the time, but when it came to his family he was always there. He put his family first—always. James was the least judgmental person and never said anything bad about anyone. He was someone you could depend on. Even though he was a quiet man, he was never shy to heckle someone! Definitely embarrassed his family from time to time. James was a true family man. He was a hard worker but made time for the ones he truly cared about. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family vacations, but later on, he enjoyed going to the casino and playing the slot machines. He also enjoyed playing computer games for hours—his favorite was Solitaire. He loved his family with his whole heart, and his presence will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his three loving children, Melissa Manees (Michael), James E. Cash, and April Cash; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; ex-wife, Louise Cash; sister, Margaret Carter; two nieces; one nephew; five great nieces and nephews; best friend, Robert Kidd; along with a host of other family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. at Holly Springs Baptist Church: 22401 Colonel Glenn Road, L.R., AR 72210.
