James E. Crook, age 77 of Bryant, passed away on December 13, 2017. He was born on June 4, 1940 to the late, Burl and Alice Crook in Tull, Arkansas.

Mr. Crook proudly served two tours in the Vietnam War and was a member of VFW of Benton, Post #2256 for many years. He belonged to the Moose Lodge #2567 and was a Roman Catholic.

James is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Lisa Brown; one son, Richard Crook and a brother, Joe Cloud.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cheryl Crook; Daughter, Deborah Crook; sister, Wanda Cloud Hoppner; brother, R. J. Cloud; seven grandchildren, Ben, Sharlene, Candy, Angelica, Richie, Jesse and Billy; four great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends who all love and miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2:00PM with visitation one hour prior.
