James Daniel "Danny" Needham, 74,  of Alexander, Arkansas went to be with his heavenly father on Friday, September 15, 2023. He was born on Monday, October 25, 1948, in De Queen, Arkansas to the late Robbie and Hazel Needham.

Danny enlisted in the US Army in February of 1971 and got an Honorable discharge in November of 1977. He was known by his grands and greats as Doodad. Danny retired from Arkansas Tennis Association as well as Boxes and More LLC. He loved being outdoors doing yardwork or just sitting outside drinking coffee. Danny was a very crafty woodworker and loved every second of it. He enjoyed being with his family and getting to spend time with them.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Robbie and Hazel Needham; sister, Linda Kaye Needham Finley; brother, Bobby Jim Needham; son-in-law, Chris Gray; bonus daughter, Marissa Shaw; brother in-law, Wayne Humphrey; niece, Angela Kaye Needham Hartsfield.

He is survived by the love of his life, Jo Needham; son, Alex Needham (Stela); daughter, Kristen Juarez; bonus daughters, Shari Fernandez (Ray), Susan Gray, Hallie Muilenburg (Danny); brother, Wendell Needham (Marolyn); sister, Earline Humphrey;  15 grandchildren and 19 greats; special friend, Jason Self; along with a host of family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 10:00 A.M at Dial and Dudley funeral home.
