James Bobby "Bob" Hand 84, of Bryant passed away on January 20, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born on March 22, 1935 to the late Sydney and Essie Hand in Coosa County, Alabama. Bob enjoyed reading, gardening, and fishing when he was younger. He was also known for making the best apple pie around. He loved spending time with his family. He was an avid singer and minister of music at several churches throughout his life with his wife JoAnne at the piano.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife JoAnne; two brothers; and six sisters.
Bob is survived by his son Jeffrey Hand (Jennifer) of Jacksonville; three daughters Lisa White (Claud) of North Little Rock, Pam Smith (Danny) of Bryant, and Keri Davis (Michael) of Benton; seven grandkids Brian, Joshua, Richard, Allen, Zachary, Jade, and Kathryn; eleven great grandkids with two on the way; numerous step grandkids, nieces, nephews; and a host of other family and friends who all loved him dearly and will miss him very much.
Visitation will be Friday January 24, 2020 from 6-8 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Arkansas. Celebration of life will be Saturday January 25, 2020 at 11 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. To sign online guestbook, please visit www.dialdudleyfuneralhome.com .
