Jimbo led a life defined by unwavering dedication, profound kindness, and deep love for his family and friends. Jimbo proudly served in the Navy, a testament to his commitment to service and duty. However, it was his career at Arrow Coach Lines where he truly found his passion, dedicating over 60 years to his work with a joy that was evident to all who knew him. It was there that he forged a lifelong friendship with Kenneth Wittke, his cherished best friend. Raised in a family that valued hard work, Jimbo spent many years cutting firewood with his father Carl, sharing not just labor but a bond built on respect and admiration. His parents, Carl and Marjorie, held a special place in his heart, and he cared for his mother until her passing in 2004. Jimbo had an insatiable love for the outdoors, finding solace and joy in fishing and camping trips, particularly at Lake DeGray, where he created countless cherished memories with his loved ones. He eagerly shared his passion for fishing with anyone who would join him. A man of immense loyalty and warmth, Jimbo was a beloved friend to many, always ready with a helping hand or a listening ear. He had a talent for winemaking, crafting the renowned "J.K. special," and took great joy in passing on his knowledge to family, friends, and neighbors to ensure his legacy would endure. Above all else, Jimbo was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Karen, whom he loved with a depth that knew no bounds. His patience was legendary, his heart boundless, and he cared for Karen with unwavering devotion until his final days. In the hearts of all who knew him, Jimbo leaves an indelible mark of kindness, integrity, and love. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered as a man who lived life to the fullest and whose spirit touched the lives of countless people.
