James Daniel Nellis 51 of Little Rock passed away suddenly on February 12, 2020 with his family by his side.  He was born on May 21, 1968 to James Donald and Betty Ann Nellis in McAlester, Oklahoma. God and Family came first.  He was a collector of Star Wars and Military History memorabilia. James was a very hard worker, " Jack of all trades, Master of none". He proudly served as a Little Rock Police Officer since 2001. James had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a giving heart and loved taking care of others.

James is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Holly; five children, Grant, Jared, Josh, Jacob and Ashley; granddaughter, Amara; his parents James Donald and Betty Ann Nellis; two sisters; Sarah Uzzell "Stewart" and Jamie Tipton "Phillip" and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
