IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Thomas
Taylor Jr.
March 3, 1966 – October 10, 2020
Tommy started life as a young man in Sheridan, Arkansas but found his way to the peaceful wilderness of Flippin, Arkansas, living in a cabin on Bull Shoal's Lake. Tommy resided in many places throughout his short life, including Pine Bluff, North Little Rock, Las Vegas, Texas, North Dakota, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Utah.
Throughout Tommy's life, he became a master of many things including receiving expert honors on the M-16 rifle and an expert qualified grenadier badge during his tenure with the US Army. Tommy became known as the "go-to" expert in fishing, hunting of all sorts and……quite frankly anything involving nature, wildlife, and the outdoors.
Tommy was a commercial fisherman, lumberjack, plumber, glazier, firefighter, butcher, gardener, k9 handler, and one of the best tradesman anyone has ever seen. Tommy enjoyed being outdoors, cooking some of the best catfish anyone's ever had, and comically doing anything other than what he was supposed to be doing. This usually consisted of tinkering with small treasures, that anyone, but Tommy would consider junk. Tommy's heart was beautiful, he loved those close to him fiercely. Not many people got to experience Tommy's soul on a personal level, but those who did loved that man. I mean they REALLY loved that stubborn man. Tommy was the easiest to love, but the hardest to unlove. He was a fee spirit and has an unquenchable thirst for a "free life." He was able to experience life in a way most of us dream of, free of alarm clocks and boring rules. There is no unloving Tommy Taylor. Tommy was a family man, but not in your traditional sense, just ask around. His family would tell you he loved with his whole heart, although he loved in a unique way that some may not have understood, Tommy's love was deep and endless. He will be missed by many. Although his physical presence is no longer with us, his soul can be found in an autumn leaf drifting to the ground in a quiet forest, or in a rolling stream as the fish move peacefully about waiting to caught by another passionate fisherman. If people ask why he's gone missin' just tell them he's gone fishin'.
James Thomas Taylor, Jr. born on March 3 rd , 1966 was the son of James Thomas Taylor, Sr. or as we all know him, Jimmy Taylor and his wife, Phyllis Taylor. Tommy's beloved mother's name is Marilyn Ann Weatherford-Rice. On October 10 th , 2020, Tommy went to meet God, both his parents, and several other loved ones in Heaven. He will be missed by so many friends and relatives, including his wife, Ginger Bell-Taylor, his daughter, Tomi Jade Taylor, also Ginger's children Chase Bender, Tabbi Stivers-Hubbard, and Tara Stivers. Tommy considered all their kids his grandbabies, including Morgan John who lived with Tommy and Ginger throughout the years. Marilyn and Jimmy had two children first being Charlotte Stowe married to Dave Stowe, followed by Tommy. Later Jimmy and Phyliss belessed Tommy with two other siblings Sister Dana Poindexter married to Jamie Poindexter, and Dana's kid's Brandon Love, Cody Love, Tiffany Love, Robin Almaguer and Ryan Benfield, and finally James Taylor married to Jessica Taylor, and James's son Mason Taylor.
