James "Jim" Turner 63 of Benton passed away on April 27, 2013 with his family by his side. Jim was born on December 18, 1949 to Carroll Joe and Rachel Turner in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He was employed with American Laboratories. He loved his family and was a wonderful, husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. Jim enjoyed going to auctions, wood working and working on old cars.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carroll Turner; brother, Woodrow (Woody) Turner and sister, Cynthia Turner.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Glenna Faye Turner; mother, Rachel Turner; two daughters, Christie Quinn (Brian) and Cindy Apodaca (Chris); three step-sons, Tommy Lewis (Regina), Mike Lewis (Sherry) and Kenny Lewis; five granddaughters, Kodie Lynn Lewis, Lauren Patterson (Casey), Jordan Ainsworth, Chelsy Lewis and Kyndal Apodaca; one grandson, Blane Lopez; great granddaughter, Addison Claire; two sisters, Melinda Buck (Ron) and Melissa Sanders (Mike) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
