Janice JoAnn Carrington 76 of Hensley went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born on April 12, 1936 to the late, Joe W. and Viola E. Rodgers in Woodson, Arkansas. She was a devoted member of New Hope Nazarene Church. Joann loved taking care of her family and friends; she was always helping others and putting their needs before her own. Joann loved being a home maker; she was always taking care of her grandbabies that she loved with her whole heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 26 years, Glen Allan Carrington; five brothers and four sisters.
Joann is survived by her two daughters, Patti Kelley and Teresa Carrington-Day; three sons, Ronnie Carrington, Robert Carrington (Gayle) and Ricky Glenn Carrington (Barbara); twelve grandchildren who all adored her, Chad, Jennifer, Megan, Talon, Hunter, Allan, Daniel, Trisha, Erika, Tyler, Hunter and Noah; six great grandchildren, Addison, James, Elijah, Luke, Abel and Jonathan; three sisters, Brenda, Judy and Sharon; one brother, Jerry; special friend, Billy Joe and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and church family who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
