Janice “Jay” Arlene Colebank, 68, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away on April 24, 2026. She was born on October 19, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Jay was a graduate of Baptist School of Nursing and devoted her life to caring for others through her work as a nurse. She had a deep love for her family and found her greatest joy in being a mother and grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed being outdoors, whether tending to her garden or spending peaceful moments fishing with her loved ones.
She is survived by her father, Everett “E.F.” Crook; her brothers, Robert Allen and wife Debra, and Stephen Allen; her sons, Dustin Jackson and Cody Jackson and wife Mallory; and her cherished grandchildren, Aidan Jackson, David Jackson, and Layla Jackson. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Stephen “Steve” Colebank; her mother, Barbara Crook; her sister, Melody Spikes; and her brother, Loren Crook.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at the same location. A graveside service will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
