Janie Sue Hendrix 62 of Bauxite passed away on June 2, 2011 with her family surrounding her. She was born on June 15, 1948 to the late, Vern and Gladys Hicks in Bauxite, Arkansas. Janie was a member of the Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was loved by many children that she took care of over the years that looked to her as a mother or grandmother. She enjoyed being outside working with her flowers and plants. On days she could get away she loved to go to rummage sales. Janie will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She is survived by her caring husband, Kenneth Hendrix Sr.; two sons, Kenneth Jr. (Kenny) Hendrix and his wife, Jennifer and Kelvin Hendrix and his wife, Arla; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Ethan and Matthew all from Bauxite.
