Janie Lee Jeffcoat (62) of Benton went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2016. She was born in Benton, AR on July 23, 1954. Janie had a sweet personality, a tender heart, and a gentle, kind spirit. She made others feel welcome and accepted. Janie's family was very important to her. She loved her children and grandchildren. Janie's husband preceded her in death, and he was the love of her life. While he was still living, they were inseparable. They set a great example for their children with the love and care they had for each other. Janie was preceded in death by her Husband of 45 years, Harold Manuel Jeffcoat Sr., her parents Pearl and Leroy "Pete" Balding, two brothers: Wayne E. Balding and David Balding, three sisters Urma Lee Balding, Linda Jeffcoat and MaryAnn Pruett. She is survived by one brother: William (Connie) Balding, three children: Amanda (Jeremiah) Byrd, Angela (Stephen) Wood, Dr. Harold (Cindy) Jeffcoat Jr., and seven granddaughters: Hailey, Hannah, Kyla, Kinley, Kelsey, Kambri and Jovie. A private service has been scheduled for family and close friends.
