Jeanette L. Wilson, 77, of Benton, passed away on February 2, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospice. She was born on June 17, 1932 to the late E. E. (Hank) and Lucille (Moore) Pickens in Leachville, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Little Rock High School and attended Little Rock Junior College (UA, Little Rock) and Abilene Christian University. During her professional life, she served as an employee of AMOCO, Northeast, New Jersey, President and Manager of Abilene Christian University Credit Union and retired from the First National Bank of Tyler, Texas (now Regions Bank). She was an active member of Church of Christ in several cities in which she lived.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. Gerald T. Wilson; two sons, John Wilson (Susan) of Benton and David Wilson (Denise) of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Joyce Branscome-Lusk of Hot Springs Village; eight grandchildren, Aaron Wilson (Suzanne) of New York City, Christie Pinney (Ted) of Sherwood, Julie Bittle (Matthew) of Benton, Melanie Wilson, Brian Wilson, Brett Wilson, Lauren and Alyssa Dunlap of Dallas, Texas; five great grandchildren, Tyler Pinney, Tatum Pinney, Jackson Bittle, Chelsea Wilson and Brayden Wilson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will all miss her dearly.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant with Ministers Jerry Almond and Jim Gardner officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial service will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park at 3:00 PM and will be conducted by Rev. J.
