It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend Jeffrey Todd McClain.
Jeffrey Todd McClain, 50, from McCroy Arkansas, was born on May 31, 1967 and passed away on November 08, 2017.
Jeffrey whom liked to go by Todd, attended McCroy High School, in McCroy Arkansas and graduated in 1985. He later went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse getting his certificate from Foothills Vo Tech in Searcy in 1989. Todd enjoyed his career as an Licensed Practical Nurse. Todd took several coworkers under his wings and showed them the ropes of care giving.
Todd was always trying to help other in whatever way he could. Todd would give his shirt off his back for you, if you needed it. Todd also loved to sing with his church choir and play the piano. He loved listening, singing, and playing music by Elvis Presley. Todd also had a love for photography and enjoyed taking pictures. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Todd is survived by his brother Timothy George McClain of Judsonia, AR. Sister Gayla Denise McClain-Carrillo (Orlando) of Oxnard, CA. Nieces Annalee Ramirez, and Raylene Reyes. Nephews Joseph Ramirez, Robert Reyes all of Oxnard, CA. Maternal uncles Brian (Dina) Milton of Wynne, AR. Rodney Milton of Vanndale, AR., and Delbert Milton. Paternal aunt Randy McClain of Bakersfield CA, Uncle Terry (Diane) McClain of Wynne, AR. Aunt Susan McClain, of Vanndale, AR. Todd had some very special friends whom he considers family that he is also survived by Sherri Mack (Charles), Kim Moseley, Barbara Peeks, Mary Jo Morris. He also leaves behind eight little angels who referred to him as their paw-paw. Todd also had numerous cousins, and friends.
Todd is preceded in death by his parents, mother Linda Milton, and father Walter Dennis McClain. His two brothers, Byron Keith McClain, and Felix Ray McClain. His Maternal grandparents Dalbert and Doris Milton. His paternal grandparents Ray and Fannie McClain. Maternal aunt Darlene Milton, paternal uncles James McClain, and Michael Steven McClain.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 at 10:00 am at The Ephesus Church of God. Located 205 E. Raney, McCroy, AR. 72101. Burial of his ashes will be held immediately after that at Loughridge Cemetery 10198 AR-284, AR. 72396. Gathering to be held after burial at The Ephesus Church of God, same location as above.
