Jerry Lee Ross, 75, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018.  He was born to Clarence and Lela Ross in Mena, Arkansas on February 26, 1943.

Jerry was a cowboy and loved to rodeo and ride.  He loved all things outdoors:  fishing and hunting especially.  He enjoyed every moment with his grandchildren.  Jerry served as an ordained deacon for over 11 years at Hurricane Lake Baptist Church in Benton.  He was a carpenter by trade and put his all into his quality carpentry work.  He had a country and western band for years, and he often played guitar at church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

He leaves many to cherish his memory:  his wife of 56 years, Loma; children, Kenny Ross (Eda) of East End and Rhonda Dove (Mark) of Alexander; grandchildren: Ashley Henry (Daniel), J.D. Ross (Michelle), David Dove (Amanda), Courtney Lawson (Leigh), Kaitlyn Phillips, Lauryn Ross, Dillon Dove, Kaylee Butler (Cody), and Haylee Dove; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Gene Ross and Larry Ross; aunt, Johnnie Faye Craig; nieces; nephews; and many friends who will miss the music he brought to their lives.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 29, 2018 at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Hwy. 5 North, Bryant, Arkansas 72022, (501)847-9099.  Visitation will follow.
