Jim Tom Davis 38 of Bauxite passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009. Jim Tom was born on July 20, 1971 to Lewis Raymond and Jewel Dean Davis in Benton, Arkansas. Jim Tom loved spending time with his family, playing pool and eating good home cooking. He was always whistling, humming and making everyone around him laugh.
Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his father, Lewis Raymond Davis and sister, Lewis Ramon Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Chastity Davis; daughter, Tabitha Davis and son-in-law, Phillip Ashley; son, J. T. Davis; granddaughter, Emery Ann Grace Ashley; mom, Jewel Dean Davis; half brother, Charles Davis; father and mother- in- law, Mandy and Bobby Dempsey; sister and brother- in- laws, Bob and Cindy Rossell of Bauxite, Bobby and Mandy Dempsey Jr. of Haskell, James and Kimberly Harrison of Bauxite, Tommy Coffman and Joanna Wilson of Benton; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North Bryant. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brad Simmons, Jeff Pruett, Jack Lane, Randy Hutcheson, Bobby Dempsey Jr., Dale Wilson, Joseph Stewart and Pedro Narvaez.
